Why is it difficult to transition from teaching?

One of the most prominent misconceptions teachers have is that they aren't qualified for other positions without going back to school. I created this quiz to help you identify "soft pivots" or career buckets that are smoother transitions using the transferable skills that you already have. In my years outside of the classroom, I've worked with former teachers in many other industries, CEOs from companies, and HR Experts. Take it from me, this list is just a modest sample of the opportunities out there for former teachers.

One of the reasons teachers find it challenging to leave teaching is because they never made a Plan B. Teaching was supposed to be a forever career, but what happens if you need to move on? My mission is to help open your eyes to many possibilities NOW to help prepare you in advance, so you don't have to make a rushed transition from teaching (like I did).

I created the Career Transition Guide for Teachers to be your Plan B exit-strategy starting point. I don't want you to have excuses to talk yourself out of having this in your back pocket just in case, so I've even dropped its cost to the ultra-affordable price of $9. Yes, the cost of knowing your available opportunities is the same as your favorite latte and a pastry.

You don't HAVE to do this alone.

I left the classroom due to a toxic work environment and severe burnout for a career in educational consulting and instructional design. After having no resources to support my own transition, I vowed to create the community to help others facing the same difficult decision. To date, over 20,000 like-minded educators have explored opportunities and supported one another through the process.

There's so much value inside this resource!

Jessica - 3rd Grade Teacher

This guide gave me so much confidence in myself and opened my eyes to new possibilities! I felt that I could clearly organize my resume and continue the career search and learn to market my skills in new ways. Thank you, Daphne!

Hey There, I'm Daphne!

There's a reason you took the Quiz...

Whether it was another teacher's recommendation, searching "other jobs for teachers," or pure chance that brought you, I'm SO happy you found me.

I was in your shoes before. Back when I was contemplating my transition out of the classroom, there were virtually no resources to support me. Eventually, I landed positions I loved in educational consulting and instructional design and started my own business.

My mission is to build the community and support that I wish I had years ago and to help you be successful.

Whether you're looking to start a transition out of teaching or curious about building a profitable side-hustle, I'm going to be your go-to gal.
